Currently, we are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Food Runners to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the servers and kitchen staff by ensuring timely delivery of food items to our guests. This role is ideal for those passionate about the restaurant industry looking to advance their career. Responsibilities Expedite food from the kitchen. Clean up buffet areas after cocktail hour. Maintain the hygiene and food safety of the cocktail hour food. Assist with dinner service, bringing main course items to the tables. Assist with cake cutting and plating. Reset cocktail hour areas for the next day’s service. Additional responsibilities directed by your Maitre`D or Terrace Supervisor. Requirements At least 1 year of experience in restaurant food service. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and individually. Flexibility to work late nights and weekends. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand, walk up and down stairs, for extended period of time during shift. Must have some ability to use technology for route portal, timecard and tracking equipment. Easy work if you like driving and being social with people. No heavy lifting, but you do push wheelchairs, load wheelchair onto a lift and secure it in the van, and assist clients with bags. Full time; hours may vary Monday through Friday between 6:30am-5pm.
