The Elementary Pastor will look and lead towards creating holy moments, create an enjoyable environment, applicable, age appropriate & accessible to kids of all the ages they lead. They will also lead a team of volunteers who know how to relate to kids and ensure that they learn and speak biblical truths while creating a safe environment through their personal heart posture and adherence to policies. Position Type: Part-Time Hours: 22 Hours Per Week Salary: $18.00 Per Hour Job Responsibilities: Pastoring and leadership of kids grades 1st-5th in our services on Sundays as well as during our midweek services (Tuesday nights). Assisting with creating and developing curriculum for Bethel Kids. Assisting Elementary with yearly projects and events (which includes Holiday Feast, Easter Egg Hunt/Carnival, Backpack Giveaway, Bethel Redding Weekend, Day Camp and Revival Camp). Attending weekly team meetings and monthly all-team meetings. Assisting with any administrative tasks being carried out in the Elementary Office. We seek a qualified Direct Support Professional to join our compassionate and reliable care team up to 34 hours a week, Saturday through Wednesday. This person will play an important role in maintaining a consistent, safe and high quality life for our client. You will join a well managed and cohesive care team where flexibility, resourcefulness, and professionalism are valued. We hire through DSP agencies (Rever Grand, Rise, Connections NW etc.) as well as through Lane County for those already certified as a Personal Support Worker. The pay scale is set by these agencies and ranges from $18/hr to $24/hr, includes mileage reimbursement for transportation services. Regular duties will be to support the client's independence for activities of daily living (cooking, budgeting, household chores) and modeling good social skills and positive communication. (No bathing or hygiene care required.) Prior experience with adults experiencing autism or other intellectual or developmental disabilities is required. Spirituality and family play a large role in her life, and her personal assistant may need to assist her to attend weekly congregation services. She is friendly and direct, but needs staff to be patient and give her time to fully communicate her thoughts. You will also work together on household chores, cooking, attending medical appointments, and running errands. She needs substantial assistance with showering, dressing, taking medications, shopping, cooking, physical therapy, and using her adaptive equipment. You’ll work two shifts per week totaling 42 hours: 2pm Sunday through 8pm Monday and Friday 8am-8pm. *You’ll also work your regular hours on Agency holidays. The Peer Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the recovery process as individuals attempt to navigate behavioral health systems and recovery resources. Peer Support Specialists educates and empowers individuals by assisting them in developing a strong, stable recovery support system. Some core job responsibilities include conducting support meetings, offer service linkage as specified on the care plan, and responding to residents' emergencies as needed. Ultimately, you will work directly with the residents to assist individuals with self-care and self-awareness, encouragement and support, teaching coping skills and the positive benefits of long-term recovery.
