The Elementary Pastor will look and lead towards creating holy moments, create an enjoyable environment, applicable, age appropriate & accessible to kids of all the ages they lead. They will also lead a team of volunteers who know how to relate to kids and ensure that they learn and speak biblical truths while creating a safe environment through their personal heart posture and adherence to policies. Assisting with creating and developing curriculum for Bethel Kids. Assisting Elementary with yearly projects and events (which includes Holiday Feast, Easter Egg Hunt/Carnival, Backpack Giveaway, Bethel Redding Weekend, Day Camp and Revival Camp). Attending weekly team meetings and monthly all-team meetings. Assisting with any administrative tasks being carried out in the Elementary Office. Essential Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned • Provide humane care for all animals in the Peninsula Humane Society's care • Clean and disinfect all animal areas as necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary environment • Feed and ensure water are available at all times for all animals • Unload, store and restock Animal Care Department supplies • Certified in Euthanasia within six months of employment (in house training) • Perform humane euthanasia in accordance with the Peninsula Humane Society policies and California laws as needed • Perform owner present euthanasia as needed • Perform decapitations on select animals per the guidelines of the health department as needed • Perform proper disposal of deceased animals • Perform light maintenance and other janitorial duties • Assist in the training of new staff and volunteers • Provide assistance to other departments as assigned • Ensure a positive public image by enhancing the “behind the scenes” operation of the organization • Work to help improve the quality of life for animals Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Peer Support Specialists educates and empowers individuals by assisting them in developing a strong, stable recovery support system.
