SUMMARY and PURPOSE To administer our comprehensive competency restoration program that responds to the Department State Hospitals needs and supports the organization's overall mission, philosophy, and goals; to integrate the management of the IST program in the behavioral health system's continuum of care for those found Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST). The Competency Restoration Program Director at BBHH is responsible for directing the operations, strategic planning, and business development of the IST service line. This role involves collaborating with Medical and Clinical Leadership, BBHH leadership, Department of State Hospitals, and the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to ensure that BBHH’s goals are achieved. The Director will lead initiatives aimed at improving patient care, satisfaction, and operational efficiency, while also maintaining safety and compliance standards. • Member of the hospital leadership team. • The position requires presence during hospital business hours five days a week and availability for additional hours as needed to oversee the programming for those Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) • Routine presence in patient care areas. • The role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. Debris Monitors are responsible for observing and documenting cleanup operations conducted by contractors following a disaster. This includes ensuring debris removal activities are completed in compliance with federal regulations, particularly those outlined by FEMA's Public Assistance Program. Positions may include field monitoring, tower monitoring, and waterway monitoring assignments depending on project needs. Essential Functions: Waterway Monitors will be performing their duties while working on a boat. Candidates must be comfortable working on a boat 12 hours a day, possibly on choppy waters. Field Monitors: Observes and documents the debris operations, ensuring conformity with the requirements of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Public Assistance (FEMA PA) Program, and the specific directions of the supervisors and project manager. You must have a valid drivers license, a good driving record and a reliable vehicle. Driving and criminal record checks are performed. $12.60 per hour plus 70 cents per mile. 11 paid holidays off per year. Paid time off for vacation/sick day (accrued). Annual longevity bonuses.
