Span.IO, Inc. in San Francisco, CA seeks multiple Senior Applications Engineers. Responsibilities: In this role, you will serve as a key technical member of the cross-functional Products & Application Engineering team helping to drive product excellence into creative solutions to ensure success of new/existing system integrations via lab and field testing. Duties include: Supporting and performing integration testing to ensure products and procedures meet quality standards, including defining and building test setups, specifications, and system test plans, and conducting integration testing; managing pilot installations of new systems integrations, including working with installation partners and developing solutions for improving installation and deployment services for maximum efficiency; collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams across field, product, service, and engineering departments on development efforts and specifications to improve on the installation experience related to paired solar+storage systems; serving as a technical contact for both internal/external groups, including creating technical documentation to guide installers on new applications of products and supporting sales teams in installation configuration recommendations; and other duties as assigned. Salary Range: $130K - $170K. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering field (or foreign equivalent). Requirements: 18 months of experience in the job offered or related positions; 18 months of experience with residential power distribution, solar, energy storage, embedded electronics, power electronics, and/or electric vehicle service equipment (EVSE); 18 months of experience working with or designing AC and DC power in field settings; 18 months of experience providing technical documents that support engineering development; and 18 months of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project schedules, develop project milestones, and communicate KPIs to leadership. We are seeking an experienced General Operations Manager for an underground utility company with a strong background in land development, site work, underground utility and infrastructure. This role will oversee construction activities related to grading, excavation, water, sewer, storm drainage, roadways, and other civil improvements. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing field operations and project delivery for residential, commercial, and municipal development projects. This position requires a leader who can operate effectively in both the field and office, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards. ****CANDIDATES without UNDERGROUND UTILITY & LAND DEVELOPMENT experience will NOT be considered***** Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of land development and underground utility construction, including earthwork, grading, roadways, drainage, water, and sewer installations.
