The Designer will work closely with senior designers to generate concept and fabrication documents to be used by our in-house fabrication and installation teams. Job Description: - Provide designs and renders for structures proposed to clients - Generate fabrication and construction documents to be used by in-house shop and vendors - Work with structural engineers to verify design integrity - Support shop during construction phase of projects - Support field teams during the installation process by providing design guidance and quick turnaround solutions. Requirements: - 3-5 years experience generating 3D concepts drawings and 2D Fabrication drawings. - High level understanding of Rhino, Sketch-up or equivalent design software packages. - 3-5 years of Hands-On Construction/Fabrication Experience - Experience working with various material, wood, metal, glass, etc - Experience managing vendors - Fluent using Google Apps and Slack - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively - Positive attitude - Open to experiencing the highs and lows of a small but quickly growing organization. - College Degree in Architecture, Furniture Design or in related field or equivalent
