We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Document Processing & Customer Service Clerk. This position combines document review, data entry, quality control, and responsive client communication. The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Review, process, and quality-check legal and business documents with precision • Perform accurate and timely data entry as needed • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all document handling • Communicate effectively with clients by phone, email, and in person • Track and organize work to meet deadlines and service standards • Provide professional customer service while resolving client questions or concerns • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and maintain consistency Qualifications • Prior customer service, data entry, or document handling experience required • Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Clear, professional communication skills (verbal and written) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with computer-based systems • Legal industry experience a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits • $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience • Full-time, on-site position in Oakland office • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, holidays, and 401(k)
