Position in a small fast-paced firm with a focus on residential real estate, looking for Real Estate Paralegal. This is a 9AM-5PM, with some overtime as needed. Key Responsibilities: Preparing closing documents and post closing letters Editing and redlining documents Ability to manage deadlines and stay organized with high volume of closings and transactions Miscellaneous administrative duties (opening/maintaining/closing files, photocopying, printing, scanning, faxing, certified mailings) Answer telephones and handle emails Preparation of deeds and powers of attorney Ordering municipal liens certificates, plot plans and title abstracts Experience with the following is preferred but not necessary as we are willing to train the right person: Residential real estate transactions Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe and ability to easily navigate the internet Proficiency with E-Closing and Simplifile programs
