We specialize in foundation reinforcement, hillside stabilization, seismic retrofitting, and structural framing. We’re growing fast and seeking driven individuals to join our team as Structural Project Development Consultants. This is a commission-only role with high-quality, inbound leads. No cold calling. Responsibilities: --Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications to determine welding requirements. --Select appropriate welding procedures, techniques, and filler metals based on project specifications and pipe materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel). --Prepare pipe surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and beveling edges. --Perform various welding processes, including SMAW (stick), GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW, in accordance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API). --Lay out, fit, and tack weld pipes and components prior to final welding. --Perform visual inspections and may conduct other non-destructive testing (NDT) as required to ensure weld quality. --Maintain weld quality and integrity, ensuring welds meet or exceed project specifications. --Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe welding practices. --Inspect and maintain welding equipment and tools. Qualifications: --Proven experience as a Pipe Welder (5+ years preferred). --TIG WELDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED --Demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW). --Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications. --Knowledge of various pipe materials and their welding characteristics. --Familiarity with relevant welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME Section IX, API 1104). --Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures. --Ability to use and maintain welding equipment and tools. --Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship. --Ability to work independently and as part of a team. --Physical ability to perform welding tasks in various positions and environments. --Valid driver's license. This is an outdoor position, and you’ll be working in various weather conditions.
