This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to see the real-world impact of their engineering expertise. You’ll inspect structures, identify risks, and develop practical repair recommendations — all while helping protect homes and businesses throughout LA. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends advanced diagnostics and repair with workflow management, customer communication, and shop oversight. Responsibilities Perform and oversee complex diagnostics and repairs (engine, drivability, electrical, transmission). Supervise shop operations: assign jobs, manage workflow, and ensure timely turnaround. Lead, train, and mentor technicians to maintain quality and efficiency. Manage inventory, parts ordering, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and safety standards. Deliver excellent customer service through proactive communication. Track KPIs (labor hours, comeback rates, cycle time) and report to ownership Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
