Description

West Coast Window & Door is a full-service window and door installation company looking for a Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and have excellent customer service skills. The candidate must speak fluent English, have a valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record, and be willing to work 40 hours per week outside. You will be responsible for trouble shooting and repairing various window and door issues primarily for PGT and Andersen products, replacing damaged or defective items – including reglazing impact glass, and will provide basic product information to our customers. Daily work may include ladder & scaffold work on occasion. You will provide service that exceeds our customers’ expectations. This position requires a positive attitude, basic carpentry and window and door knowledge, good communications skills, problem solving ability, attention to detail, good time management skills, and be able to lift impact rated windows and door panels in excess of 80 lbs. This position requires daily travel within Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. We are looking for team members who are trustworthy, dedicated, have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, are team oriented and have a commitment to customer service. Candidate must have a CLEAN driving record, as they will be driving a company vehicle to and from the jobsites. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage a crew, deliver high-quality craftsmanship, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role is for a self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Key responsibilities: Project construction and management: Lead on-site carpentry crews, providing direction and supervision to ensure work is completed to company standards.
