$17-30/hour
621 Drummonds Point Rd, Edenton, NC 27932, USA
We’re looking for an experienced carpenter/craftsman who still takes pride in precision, detail, and true craftsmanship. If you’re tired of juggling everything yourself and just want steady, quality work (with some flexibility), this could be the right fit. Flexible setup — full time or 3–4 solid days a week works fine. The Work: • Punch-out tasks: decks, porches, lattice, screening systems • Trim, siding, and framing touch-ups • Door hardware, appliances, fixtures, and installs • Site organization, staging, cleanup • Minor drywall, paint, and repairs • Outdoor, high-quality custom homes (not production work) • Jobs around Edenton / Hertford Pay & Incentives: • 💵 $17–$30/hr based on skill & reliability (Pay is set on proven ability — not just what someone calls themselves. Show us craftsmanship and dependability, and you’ll grow into higher pay quickly.) • 🎯 $500–$1,000 per project close-out (quality + schedule + no callbacks) • ⛽ $25 weekly gas card for perfect attendance • 1099 contractor setup — start gig-style with potential for steady work What We Offer (Beyond a Paycheck): We know life outside of work can make or break success on the job. That’s why we built our Work–Life Stability Support Program — to back up dependable workers with tools that keep them steady: • 💰 Budgeting Tools & Guidance – simple paycheck breakdowns to help stretch your money • 🚗 Transportation Support – trusted mechanic contacts, one-time emergency ride help, and gas card bonuses for perfect attendance • ⏰ On-Time Incentives – weekly reliability bonuses for showing up ready to work • 📅 Monthly Check-Ins – 10–15 min talks to set small goals (like saving for tools or tires) and track progress But here’s the key: • ⚠️ This program isn’t a free ride. It only works when both sides do their part: • You bring reliability, effort, skill, and communication • We back you up with support, structure, and rewards to help you succeed • When you win, we win Who We’re Looking For: • A true craftsman — someone who takes pride in precision, detail, and quality • Not everyone who calls themselves a carpenter is a craftsman — we know the difference • Most people who reply to ads like this won’t make the cut. We’re looking for the ones who either already have it — or want it bad enough to learn • If you’ve got solid carpentry ability, real aptitude, and a willingness to learn, we’ll work with you to raise your game • Experienced enough to work independently, but still a team player • Reliable, honest, and committed to showing up and doing your part • 🚫 No drama, no excuses — just craftsmanship and accountability 👉 If you’re skilled, dependable, and want a balance of solid work + real support, reply with your name, experience, and best contact info. 👉 Please be ready to share your experience and specific skill sets when we follow up
