Your primary responsibilities will include: Load and unload traffic control trucks with cones, barricades, signage, message boards, and other necessary equipment based on work orders or job setups. Ensure all equipment is accounted for and in good working condition prior to deployment and upon return. Perform daily inspections of traffic control gear and report damaged or missing items. Clean, organize, and store equipment in designated yard areas for quick access and efficient reloading. Maintain accurate counts of cones, barricades, signs, and related materials using checklists or digital inventory tools. Track usage and assist in reordering supplies to avoid shortages. Tag and record defective or out-of-service equipment for repair or replacement. Adhere to all OSHA, DOT, and company-specific safety policies, including the proper use of PPE at all times. Keep work areas clean and free of hazards; report unsafe conditions immediately. Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and job hazard assessments. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 1 year of experience in a related field, such as equipment maintenance or construction. This role will report directly to the jobsite Foreman or Superintendent and requires strict adherence to all Warfel safety rules and regulations, including any site-specific necessities. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 AM through 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Occasional Saturday work and overtime may be required. Travel to and from the jobsite varies; reliable transportation is required. Requirements Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, HM door frames (knock down and welded), weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware. Install, align, imbed miscellaneous metal and specialty items, such as handrails, bearing plates, lintels, fire extinguishers, bathroom accessories, and various other tasks. Erect scaffolding and ladders for work on structures above ground level Use of appropriate hand tools. Building layout, wood & metal framing, layout and installation of blocking, installing cabinets, and trim and casing. Perform a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools, such as selective demo, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing projections from concrete, and cut and attach insulating material. Will be required to assist other carpenters or Warfel employees in the performance of their duties. May be required to operate hand and power tools as well as operate company equipment and vehicles.
