SUBCONTRACTOR/DOOR INSTALLER - $100k+ PER YEAR OPPORTUNITY We need subcontractors now! Our subcontractors typically average between $75k-$100k annually. We are the largest millwork installation company in the U.S. and have a proven track record of stability and year over year growth. Requirements: Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation. Minimum of 5 years' experience installing doors and/or trim carpentry is preferred. Commercial General Liability insurance (minimum $1M policy). Vehicle, trailer, or some way to transport products to job sites. Commercial Auto insurance policy (minimum $300K policy). EPA RRP Certified Firm and EPA RRP Certified Renovator (Lead Safe Work Practices Training). We can assist in obtaining certification if necessary. Access to a smart phone and/or tablet (a plus), as well as a computer with an internet connection. Contractor Licensing (State, County and City) required where applicable. Must provide own tools - IE: trim carpentry/door installation tools. Serious Inquiries only. Contractors are paid on a percentage basis, by job type.

We are a small firm specializing in the fabrication, finishing, installation & restoration of historic & traditional architectural woodwork. We are looking for woodworkers with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience. Our shop is in Sunnyside, Queens. Our site work tends to be mainly in the 5 boroughs, but we do a significant amount of work out of the city as well.
 We work on wood windows & doors, cornices, staircases, and other architectural woodwork. We work at public & private buildings. Our projects range from staircase and handrail installation to the installation & servicing of traditional wood windows. Being focused on restoration, our work tends to be eclectic and requires flexibility. Each staff member is engaged in a variety of tasks both on-site & in the shop. We occasionally work on brownstone scaffolds so a comfort with heights is helpful. We often work in sensitive environments such as museums, public spaces & religious buildings. Thoughtful behavior and proper inter-personal skills are essential. We maintain a family friendly, cooperative atmosphere. Our goal is to provide a healthy, safe and enjoyable work experience. We are looking to expand our team with the appropriate remodel carpenter that demonstrates attention to detail, eagerness to learn, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and who can work independently and or lead a team. Ideal candidates will have: Minimum 5+ years of carpentry experience in general residential & remodel construction required. Ability to read, understand and interpret construction plans, sketches and details. Be adept and comfortable performing general labor, structural and non-structural framing, carpentry, finish carpentry, concrete, tile setting, drywall installation and finishing, painting, roofing penetrations, flashing, siding, windows, doors, fixtures, demo, cleanup, etc. Ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, inspectors, coworkers, etc. Able to perform punch-lists, customer review, and final walk through when required. Ability to lead a project and associates from mobilization through project completion. Daily reports, detailed time & material tracking when required. Tracking of receipts and mileage for reimbursements and use of company credit accounts. Willingness to grow. Personable, with good communication skills. Ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive client relationships. Positive attitude and appearance. Reliable, dependable transportation, valid WA state driver’s license and mobile phone. Tools should include all basic hand and power tools customarily owned by a carpenter.
