Home Evaluation Specialist – Flexible, Part-Time (DC Metro) Birdwatch is on a mission to reinvent home maintenance. We help homeowners manage repairs, maintenance, and improvements — with care, trust, and professionalism. We’re looking for Home Evaluation Specialists: ✅ Background in residential construction, home inspection, general contracting, or broad home systems knowledge ✅ Strong people skills — able to build trust, explain things clearly, and put homeowners at ease ✅ Tech-comfortable (photos, notes, apps) ✅ Reliable transportation The Work: Conduct walk-through evaluations of members’ homes (not full inspection reports). Identify safety issues, maintenance needs, and system conditions. Appointments scheduled M–F, generally 8:30–5:30. Each visit = about 3–4 hours including prep and reporting. Flexible, part-time opportunities with potential to grow. Qualifications: 2+ years in home evaluation, inspection, contracting, or maintenance. Strong customer service and communication skills.
