Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable Class A Driver to join our paving and concrete team. This role involves transporting various paving and concrete equipment to and from job sites using flatbeds, lowboys, and other commercial vehicles. When on-site, the driver will assist the crew with paving or concrete renovation tasks as needed. This position requires minimal overnight travel, allowing employees to be home most nights to enjoy time with their families. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport paving and concrete equipment between job sites. Secure and inspect loads to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies. Assist crews with paving and concrete work, including site preparation, material handling, and general labor tasks. Perform routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles and report any issues to the fleet manager. Follow all company safety protocols and maintain proper documentation, including daily logs and inspection reports. Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to coordinate equipment delivery and job site support. Load and unload tools, materials, and machinery safely and efficiently. Qualifications & Skills: License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Tanker endorsement a plus. Experience: 2+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction, paving, or concrete industries. Knowledge: Understanding of DOT regulations, load securement, and basic vehicle maintenance. Skills: Ability to operate heavy equipment (preferred but not required), strong teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and perform physical labor as needed.
