I’m looking for a careful, reliable art and photography assistant to help with projects in my San Jose studio. This role is open to students or early-career assistants eager to gain experience, as well as professionals with prior art/photography work. What you’ll do: • Photograph and catalogue artworks (paintings, prints, photos). • Help organize digital files and prepare online listings (Shopify, Saatchi, etc.). • Assist with light studio organization and project prep. • Handle artworks with care and precision. Who you are: • Background in art and/or photography (student training, freelance, or professional). • Awareness of the art world and its “ins and outs” is very helpful. • Precise, neat, and detail-oriented. • Affable, reliable, and easy to work with. Ensure all keys are securely stored and accounted for. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate a variety of RVs, including motorhomes and towable trailers. Previous experience in a dealership, automotive, or RV industry preferred but not required. Ability to perform basic maintenance and inspections. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active tasks. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow). Ability to safely climb in and out of RVs, including motorhomes and towable trailers. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and reach as needed to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks. Manual dexterity to safely operate RVs, including using steering wheels, brakes, and other controls.
