The Prefab Tech will work with the prefabrication team to perform accurate and detailed assemblies, per drawings and specs, for various projects. Responsibilities Prefabrication Tasks Follow work plans based on SOP’s and job specifications. Perform material counts and track changes throughout the prefab process. Use time management skills to track and record tasks. Understand how to properly use hand tools and power tools. Ensure all tools are properly cleaned, maintaining, and inspecting before and after each use. Create items, assemblies, components, and products to Royal quality standards. Ensure Royal QC is implemented on all products. Ability to understand plans, details, and panel schedules. Ability to create and track material counts and take offs. Learn the electrical trade Learn different work plans based on SOP’s and job specifications. Strive to learn the different materials utilized in the electrical construction industry. Learn various electrical construction techniques, procedures, and standards in order to grow in the construction industry. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Identify damage to equipment and materials. Inspect all tools and equipment before use for any damage. Attend weekly safety meetings and daily stretch and flex. Material Management Receive and organize materials. Unload and stock material. Prepare materials for pick up.
