Role and Responsibilities: The Retail team at David Protein leads the commercialization of our product portfolio across physical retail. The first class of Strategic Retail Analysts will specialize by channel (e.g., Grocery, Convenience, Club) and will be expected to run their channel end-to-end – owning the business unit, with full P&L responsibility. Reporting to a Strategic Retail Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how David scales nationally through its largest revenue engine: in-store retail. What You’ll Own: Channel Leadership: Own the growth and profitability of your retail channel – acting as the General Manager of the business unit. P&L Ownership & Commercial Strategy: Take full ownership of the channel’s P&L. Define and execute the full commercial strategy – including revenue, margin, pricing, pack architecture, and cost structure – across all accounts and regions. Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement a retail pricing framework tailored by format and region (e.g., club, convenience, grocery). Own pack size strategy, defend everyday pricing, and lead the design and negotiation of promotions and in-store activations that drive trial without eroding brand equity. Retail Partnership Negotiations: Pitch and onboard all retail accounts within your channel. Negotiate commercial terms, including: Product pricing, margins, and pack sizes Promotional calendars and sampling frequency SKU assortment and shelf placement Secondary displays and in-store marketing Retail Execution & Performance: Drive performance post-launch by: Forecasting demand by account to inform procurement and production timing – ensuring the right quantities are produced at the right time Monitoring and adjusting inventory levels and order volumes by account to minimize stockouts and maximize on-shelf performance New Product Launches: Lead the retail rollout of every new product in your channel – from pricing and placement to sell-through and performance tracking. Strategic Relationships: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key retailers and distributors critical to David’s national expansion. Requirements 1 -3 years of relevant experience High intellectual horsepower paired with an accurate work style Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into clear, confident decisions Persuasive communication skills with a knack for building relationships – both internally and with retail and distributor partners A bias for speed and autonomy; you operate independently and move fast Humble, self-aware, and curious A desire to build an early-stage CPG company with a mission to create tools to increase muscle and decrease fat Note - we care much more about your attributes than your experience. Curology is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end operations—covering procurement, planning, manufacturing partnerships, distribution, and logistics—while ensuring reliable, efficient, and compliant delivery of our products.
