All Inns of Aurora employees are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics as defined in the Inns of Aurora, LLC handbook: · Courage · Initiative · Dependability · Flexibility · Integrity · Judgment · Respect for others Spa Attendant Supervisor POSITION PURPOSE: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Spa, the Spa Attendant Supervisor is responsible to work alongside as well as supervise a team of Spa Attendants to ensure all day to day standards and procedures are adhered to delivered at the highest level of guest satisfaction in the spa. The Spa Attendant Supervisor maintains Inns of Aurora service and hospitality standards throughout all interactions.  The Spa Attendant Supervisor may also facilitate and participate in training and evaluations of the team. Additionally, the Spa Attendant Supervisor may be asked to participate in administrative duties including but not limited to aspects of payroll, scheduling, inventory management, trainings, and progressive discipline. The Spa Attendant Supervisor must at all times display professionalism and attention to detail to serve as an example and leader to the rest of the Spa Attendant team. The Spa Attendant Supervisor will also: ·       Ensures Spa areas are immaculate, safe, and in good repair. ·       Understands first aid/emergency procedures and can direct guests accordingly. ·       Collaborates graciously with all resort departments. ·       Supports team members by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching, as needed. ·       Maintains a calm demeanor when confronted with difficult situations, to set a positive example for team members and guests. ·       Develops positive relationships with Spa team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns. Requirements Requirements       1.  First Aid/AED/CPR certification preferred, or willing to become certified.      2.  Computer and technology proficient. Excel, Word, Outlook. (Microsoft Office Suite) 3.  Masterful at computer systems/POS. Book4Time Software knowledge a plus. 4. Reliable and punctual. Being present in the workplace daily is key to success. 5.  Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and calm demeanor. 6. Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays required. 7. Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week. 8. Ability to sit, stand (for eight hours or more a day), reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 40 pounds or less. 9. Excellent English communication skills; both written and verbal. 10. Proven leadership qualities. Ability to work cohesively with all Spa areas and co-workers as part of a team. 11. Strong organization and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated success at working multiple priorities simultaneously. Exercising good judgment with guest and employee situations and challenges. 12. Adjunct Nursing Faculty - BSN Medical-Surgical
Stanbridge University is seeking a qualified and passionate Adjunct Nursing Faculty member to provide instruction in Medical- Surgical of Nursing for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Reporting directly to the Director of the BSN Program, this role involves delivering high-quality didactic and/or clinical instruction, promoting student engagement and success, and maintaining academic and professional standards in alignment with university guidelines. Faculty are expected to assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate documentation of all course-related activities. Essential Functions: Deliver effective classroom and/or clinical instruction using approved syllabi and course materials. Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to foster critical thinking and clinical judgment. Facilitate student learning experiences that integrate theoretical principles into clinical practice. Evaluate student performance through observation, documentation, and grading of clinical skills and assignments. Promote patient safety and ensure adherence to clinical site policies and university protocols. Conduct pre- and post-clinical conferences, encouraging student reflection and professional growth. Foster a supportive and respectful learning environment that emphasizes professional nursing behaviors including accountability, integrity, and flexibility. Communicate feedback in a timely, constructive manner to support continuous student improvement. Maintain accurate records, submit grades, and comply with all university academic policies. Participate in department meetings and serve on committees as assigned. Stay current with professional development, clinical best practices, and nursing education trends. Qualifications: Required: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, including coursework in nursing, education, or administration. Valid, active California Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN). Four (4) years of continuous, full-time (or equivalent) direct patient care experience as an RN. Direct patient care experience within the past five (5) years in the clinical area assigned. American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification. Up-to-date immunization records. Proficiency in using educational technology and basic computer skills. $50-$65/hr. Salary is dependent on experience and education Preferred: One (1) year of teaching experience in Fundamentals of Nursing or completion of a post-baccalaureate course in nursing education. Knowledge of ATI Experience teaching both didactic and clinical courses in an academic nursing program. Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centered teaching philosophy.
