Candidates will develop, implement, and run engineering processes in support of a large Agile software development program. Candidates will provide engineering leadership to development teams including subcontractors and will be responsible for ensuring team work products meet program requirements. Responsibilities Leadership: Lead and oversee all technical aspects of the OPIR framework system design, development, integration, testing, and deployment. Establish standards: Set technical standards and processes for data handling, quality, and integrity to ensure all system development complies with mission and regulatory requirements. Technical oversight: Support engineering review boards and provide technical direction to ensure the integrity of deliverables and the overall system Communicate with stakeholders: Act as the primary technical interface between the engineering team, program management, senior leadership, and external customers. Present complex technical concepts and project status clearly. About the Role We're seeking a hands-on Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership for our Django-based SMS marketing platform. This is a critical role focused on maintaining stability while evolving a high-volume system. This position will build trust as a technical expert while helping the team make great decisions to improve and scale messaging infrastructure.
