Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are currently looking for Superintendents (across all disciplines) to join our team.
As a Superintendent, you will play a key role in supporting project execution from design through to construction. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage both people and processes in dynamic site environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review engineering deliverables and provide constructability feedback to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and fit for purpose.
Participate in project schedule reviews and cost forecasting exercises to support accurate planning and execution.
Drive, coordinate, and support contractors on site to ensure schedules are met while adhering to engineering documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.).
Perform field engineering tasks and coordinate design/technical issues with the Engineer of Record.
Collaborate with QA/QC contractors to ensure required samples, tests, and results are completed on time to avoid construction delays.
Participate in claim management, helping to resolve issues efficiently.
Review and validate contractor invoices, approving for payment where appropriate.
Serve as a safety ambassador on site—leading by example in line-out meetings, inspections, and Visible Felt Leadership (VFL) activities while supporting and coaching workers on safety practices.
Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections and site visits.
We appreciate all applicants' interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Wages are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Global reference checks may be conducted after the interview process.
Peter Lucas Project Management is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
