Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's right law firm with offices in CA, NY, IL, MI, OH, NC, GA, WA, NV and FL, is seeking a Managing Attorney with 3-5 years of experience, that is licensed in the State of Michigan and resides in the Lansing metro area. As a Managing Attorney you will be immediately immersed in our litigation process from suit initiation up through and including conducting trial.  You will be responsible for your own workload and maintaining case files currently in progress. This person will manage the legal admin staff in the office.  Furthermore, you are responsible for negotiating with defendants and attorneys while at court, phone, e-mail, and regular mail to settle contested cases. You will also draft and file motions as well as responses to motions from defendants and participate in the discovery process where applicable.   Primary Responsibilities:  •             Litigation Motions and Responses – May be required to draft, review, and file any necessary motions during the course of litigation. •             Trials and Arbitrations – May be required to prepare for trials/arbitrations as necessary for the firm. •             Communications with Attorneys, Employers, and Consumers – Attorney is required to communicate with consumers, consumer’s employers, and consumer’s attorneys as necessary to resolve accounts/suits. •             Court Appearances – Associate is required to prepare, appear timely, and properly handle court appearances in your county and any other counties that are reasonably within travel distance where applicable. It is your responsibility to ensure you are able to timely and reliably appear on time at the given courthouse.  You may need to travel overnight for certain locations, driving a car is required for some locations. •             Court Coverage Placements – Is required to review and appropriately request coverage where necessary for all court calls where an Associate will not appear including the attachment of all necessary documents for the attorney’s appearance as well as any orders necessary for the requested coverage results. •             Review Lawsuits – Is required to review all new and ongoing legal pleadings and documents to ensure accuracy for filing with respective courts. Requirements Licensed in the State of Michigan to practice law. Additional licensing in other states (NY, MO, IA, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed. Comfortable appearing in court and the ability to appear on time consistently using your own method of transportation.  Travel may be required, the firm reimburses in accordance with IRS published mileage rates, and other firm approved travel expenses will be reimbursed the subsequent pay period following submittal for reimbursement. Multi-tasking and strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for a high-volume case load. Senior Wargames and Exercise Analyst
Qualis LLC is seeking a Senior Wargames and Exercise Analyst in support of the Space Development Agency. The selected candidate will serve as a liaison facilitating the transition of Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture capabilities and supporting SDA integration efforts with Joint Force operations. This work will be onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Essential Duties: Support planning and management of program transitions and operational integration. Research and evaluate exercises and wargames conducted by Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Services, Joint organizations, and the Intelligence Community and nominate select exercises and wargames for engagement and participation by the SDA. Conceive, plan, and organize SDA participation in exercises and wargames by drafting use cases, scenarios, warfighter integration objectives, and supporting test activities conducted within the exercise environment. Act as direct liaison with host organization and secure SDA participation within the host's larger exercise and training objectives. Attend Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) events, such as Initial Planning Conferences (IPCs), Mid Planning Conferences (MPCs), and Final Planning Conferences (FPCs) advocating on behalf of SDA objectives for participation. Conduct warfighter integration activities (operational briefings, training orientation sessions, etc.) supporting the deployment and warfighter adoption of capabilities resident in the SDA's PWSA, such as data transport, space-based Link 16, and missile warning/missile tracking data. Assist in preparing potential Courses of Action (COAs) for exercise and wargame participants to examine, adjust, and adopt.  Guide exercise participants in the COA analysis process and articulate how certain Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and certain organizational processes may require further refinement to maximize the operational capabilities brought about by PWSA deployment. Provide technical expertise in PWSA capabilities, limitations, to include deployment timelines and procedures under early release procedures. Coordinate with other SDA offices and programs for required support to exercises and wargames, ensuring team is working towards mutually supportive goals. Analyze actual outcomes as compared to designed or desired outcomes; research and document root causes of any deviations.  Document, prepare, and present lessons learned drawn from SDA participation.   Engage with exercise participants and stakeholders from across the DoD to secure their support of SDA deployment, training, operational demonstrations and test activities within the exercise environments available.  Examine new and novel wargaming methods that can highlight the valued-added capabilities of the PWSA to the joint warfighter. Work collaboratively as a member of a team of analysts, M&S experts, warfighters, and technical support personnel to enable the warfighter to fully exploit PWSA capabilities as they are tested and accepted by the joint community. Use operational experience, analytical skills, and technical expertise to create, present, and document successes and shortfalls within PWSA test and deployment activities.  Support ground system planning, operational test and evaluation activities. Requirements Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance. Minimum fifteen (15) years of recent and relevant experience in DoD acquisitions or operations, exercises, training, planning and related activities. Established record demonstrating an ability to work largely unsupervised, an ability to interact appropriately with all levels of the staff, from Action Officers to executive leaders, strong briefing skills for executive-level audiences, and proven ability to follow-through on all tasks.   Desired Qualifications: A master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience in Operations Centers in Joint capacity (Joint Intelligence/Operations Centers, Air Operations Centers, Maritime Operations Centers, Army Engagement Centers); non-standard acquisition processes (SpRCO, MDA, SCO - outside JCIDS); NORTHCOM core missions (Missile Warning/Defense, Homeland Defense, Maritime Awareness, Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA).
