Under general supervision, performs Estimation job functions for the Regulatory Decision Integration organization as assigned by management. Typical job responsibilities assist and support management in ensuring that project cost estimates are accurate, meet the intended purpose and are provided in accordance with established methodologies, project guidelines and all applicable contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities that assist and support management in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned: Under general supervision, performs Estimating job functions as assigned by management. On small sized or multiple projects, acts independently or may direct a staff of other estimating individuals On large sized projects, acts independently or may direct staff of other estimating professionals Qualifies and quantifies volumes and resources required to accomplish prescribed scope Locates and documents certified resource costs, as applicable Prepares the Basis of Estimate documentation Prepares the Estimate Risk Analysis and makes contingency recommendations Arranges and conducts department, discipline, and project estimate reviews Participates in the presentation of estimates to senior management and corporate representatives Develops and maintains Estimating training programs and documentation Overall implementation and direction of the estimating functions to provide services, procedures and methods for the timely and accurate response to client, project management, departmental, and company requirements Arranges and conducts department, discipline and project estimate reviews Assists in estimating completion activities and estimate turnover to the project team Performs duties of complex in nature Other job-related duties as assigned Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a safe manner Actively participates in Safety Work Groups Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
