WSU Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Specialist, Financial Services to join our Finance team. This position is responsible for accounts payable data entry, filing vendor records, preparing reports, and assisting with other accounting-related tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: $19.50 / hr Worksite Location: NCAT. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: Perform data entry related to accounts payable Maintain vendor records in an organized and timely manner Communicate professionally with internal departments and external organizations Assist the Finance and Administration department as needed Participate in at least 20 hours of professional development annually Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and organizational policies Protect confidential information and handle sensitive data appropriately Operate job-related tools, equipment, and systems effectively Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Experience: Two years of bookkeeping or accounts payable experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions Strong time management and multitasking skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong judgment, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Benefits https://wsutech.edu/whyhere/ WSU Tech is committed to inclusive and equitable practices to create an environment and culture where students and employees thrive.
