Description As an Entry-Level Recruiter at Pressed Roots, you will play a vital role in identifying, engaging, and hiring talented individuals to support our growing salon network. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a high level of organization, and a passion for helping others grow their careers in beauty. You will support the full recruitment process from sourcing to hire while also assisting with onsite technical auditions for stylists (training provided). This role is hybrid and requires regular in-person availability in Dallas, Plano, and Arlington, with occasional travel to Houston. Because our stylist training cohorts often begin over the weekend, weekend availability is required. Key Responsibilities Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring for stylist and support roles. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create sourcing plans. Source candidates through online platforms, job fairs, networking events, and direct outreach. Support and help facilitate technical auditions for stylists, ensuring candidates meet skill requirements (training provided). Coordinate and attend in-person hiring events and cohort sessions. Build and maintain partnerships with cosmetology schools and alumni networks. Maintain accurate applicant tracking and status updates using Workable (ATS). Ensure a high-touch, positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey. Promote the Pressed Roots employer brand across social media and networking platforms. Ensure all recruiting activities align with state and federal employment law. Assist with administrative duties related to recruiting and onboarding as needed. Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed. Continuously improve recruiting processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a customer service-facing role (experience in beauty, retail, or hospitality is a plus). Based in Texas with reliable transportation to visit salons and attend events in Dallas, Plano, Arlington, and occasionally Houston. Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with recruiting platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, and ATS systems (Workable preferred) or other computer systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Comfortable learning new systems, receiving feedback, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Passion for the beauty industry and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. WORK ENVIRONMENT Hybrid work environment, with regular onsite presence required at Pressed Roots locations in Dallas, Plano, and Arlington. Requires the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
