Athletic Trainer | Full-Time | 3910 Teays Valley Rd, Hurricane, WV 25526 At Teays Physical Therapy, we prioritize the health and performance of our athletes. As an Athletic Trainer (ATC) in our outpatient clinics, you won’t just treat conditions, you’ll build relationships, improve lives, and grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for preventing, diagnosing, and treating sports-related injuries while working closely with teams, coaches, and training staff to ensure athlete safety and optimal performance. This position allows you the chance to make a significant impact on the athletic community while enjoying the support of a professional and collaborative environment. Your Role: Provide athletic training services at local high schools and community events. Create and implement injury prevention programs for athletes. Conduct thorough assessments of injuries and develop treatment plans. Educate athletes and coaches on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and nutrition. Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes. Requirements Qualifications: A graduate of an accredited Athletic Trainer program. Certification from the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Board of Certification. State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an athletic trainer in the state of practice Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Prior experience as an Athletic Trainer is preferred, but new grads are welcome! Skills: Ability to work independently and serve in community events, high school & collegiate sports teams, and outpatient clinics.   The Maintenance Technician provides technical, mechanical, and electrical support throughout the entire facility with a heavy focus on safe workplace practices.
