We are seeking a dedicated Destination Service Consultant (DSC) to join our team in Chicago, serving as an Independent Contractor to provide comprehensive settling-in services for expatriate employees relocating to the Chicago area. This is an independent contractor offsite position based in the Chicago area. Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate settling-in services for expatriate families relocating to Chicago. Arrange and conduct school tours, assist with school enrollment processes. Set up utilities, US phone plans, and facilitate Social Security processes. Assist with banking arrangements and financial services. Provide guidance on auto leasing or purchase options. Coordinate temporary accommodation arrangements. Support in exploring public transportation options and childcare solutions. Offer guidance on healthcare providers and medical facilities. Qualifications Must possess own vehicle with a $500,000 auto insurance policy. Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods, schools, park districts, and social services. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage client relationships effectively. Compensation $50.00 per hour for standard consulting services. $20.00 per hour for special projects or meetings.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and has at least 8 years of experience managing design projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee interior design projects from initial client brief through installation • Draft working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, perspectives, and interior detailing where needed • Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and designers • Develop project budgets, pricing, timelines and FF&E schedules • Manage procurement, deliveries, and installation logistics • Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget • Problem-solve on-site issues and provide real-time solutions • Maintain accurate project documentation and records Qualifications: • Minimum of 8 years of experience in interior design project management • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Drawing experience in CAD, Revit or Sketch Up • Proficient in project management software (Design Manager is a plus) and Google Suite • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
