Job Title: EHS Site Lead Location: Albany, GA Type: Full-Time, Onsite $100-120k Role Overview The EHS Site Lead is responsible for driving all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at the Albany, GA site. This leadership role ensures compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations while strengthening a proactive safety culture. With over seven years of incident-free performance, the site is recognized for its commitment to safety. The EHS Lead will play a strategic and hands-on role in maintaining and building on that success. Key Responsibilities: Lead EHS programs, policies, and systems to ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations Manage risk assessments, site audits, and incident investigations Train employees and lead safety teams (First Aid, First Responder, Safety Champions) Maintain and improve environmental protection systems (air, water, waste) Track and report EHS metrics, prepare regulatory submissions, and ensure documentation accuracy Serve as subject matter expert for safety practices: lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work, fall protection, etc. Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve processes and systems Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Safety or related discipline (preferred) 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, GMP, or ISO-regulated environment Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards; CSP certification preferred Hands-on experience with audits, training, and compliance reporting Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience with OSHA VPP and ISO 14001 highly valued Why Join: High-impact leadership role at a site with a stellar record Opportunity to influence safety culture and compliance across the organization Competitive pay and growth potential within a global company
