Job Description: Essel is currently seeking a skilled Operator to oversee remediation and demolition projects on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating heavy earthmoving and demolition equipment, capable of producing high-quality work with minimal oversight. This position requires expertise in finish grading, technical building wrecking, and processing. Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy earthmoving and/or demolition equipment, including associated attachments, with minimal supervision from a Foreman or Superintendent. Perform tasks efficiently and produce quality work, such as finish grading or technical building wrecking and processing. Utilize more than 7 years of experience operating across various service lines to ensure project success. Maintain and change out attachments for units as needed, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including HAZWOPER certification and basic construction safety courses. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Maintain equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Follow project plans and specifications to achieve project goals effectively. Requirements Requirements: Minimum of 7 years of experience operating heavy earthmoving and/or demolition equipment. Proficiency in operating various attachments and equipment types. HAZWOPER certification and basic construction safety courses are required. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
