Chase Design Group is seeking a full-time Motion Graphics & 3D Visualization Designer to join our NY team. Candidates should have experience designing for CPG brands and be able to bridge worlds between concept, design, 3D and motion. They are required to have the ability to identify and distill a brand’s needs, and convey those needs through graphic design, typography, video, and motion. They must be well versed in both 2D and 3D animation, with a variety of styles and a modern aesthetic, to contribute ideas and concepts in partnership with a diverse team of creatives. We look for team members who uphold our high creative standards with versatility, fresh ideas, and a collaborative spirit. A strong conceptual approach, sharp attention to detail, and flawless execution are essential. Requirements Collaborate with the design team to create storyboards in a wide variety of styles Contribute to the concept and execution of motion graphics bringing branding, environmental, and package designs to life in impactful ways Effectively plan executional approaches to each project Execute quickly and effectively Efficiently manage challenges and solve design problems through proactive problem solving Manage time and consistently meet deadlines Consistently drive excellence in design across all projects Ideal Candidate Excellent creative thinking and design capabilities, including typography, color, graphic development, etc. Expertise in: 3D modeling expertise 2D & 3D animation expertise Principles of lighting, textures and materials Storyboarding o Video editing and post-production BA or equivalent in Motion Design, Animation, or a related design discipline Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines simultaneously with accuracy and excellence 3-5 years working with branding and design agency Proficiency in the following programs required: Cinema 4D (including animation features) Sketchup Redshift Adobe Dimension Adobe Creative Suite Overall, Illustrator and Photoshop Adobe After Effects Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance – Chase reimburses up to the first $2,000 of employee’s medical deductible including office co-pays and prescription drugs Ten Days of Vacation Leave (increases with tenure); Six days of Sick Leave per year Major Federal Holidays Fully paid two-week office closure at the end of the year Summer Fridays Memorial Day through Labor Day (9am – 1pm) Paid Parental Leave • 401(k) with employer match Basic Life & AD&D Insurance End of Year Discretionary Bonus (based on overall annual studio profitability and individual performance) Flexible working environment Annual Educational Development Reimbursement Chase operates on a flexible hybrid schedule however his role is primarily remote due to availability and mobility of computer hardware. Candidates must be capable and comfortable working remotely with teams – maintaining regular daily contact and sharing work for feedback on a fluid basis. Computer equipment will be provided but proper connectivity/bandwidth for remote work is mandatory. Chase Design Group is a strategically driven creative agency with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Bristol, UK. Each member of the Chase team is adaptable, performing multiple functions when required. This versatility allows us to take on diverse projects that challenge us creatively and keep our work exciting.
