Must be willing to float between Charlotte, NC and Monroe, NC QualDerm Partners is looking for a proactive and adaptable Medical Assistant (Float) to join our diverse team across multiple locations. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history. Assist doctors during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available. Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times. Coordinate and schedule patient appointments across different locations. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices. Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting, preferably within dermatology. Understanding of medical terminology and clinical practices. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a multi-tasking environment. Willingness to travel to various locations as necessary. Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and office software.
