Monitor and manage network capacity, performance, and security for both NIPRNET and SIPRNET tier 2 and 3 boundaries, ensuring compliance with MCCOG policies and procedures. Coordinate with MCCOG leadership and other stakeholders to integrate new systems, optimize network architecture, and support both distributed operations and enterprise business functions. Develop and implement network backup, recovery, and contingency plans, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid restoration of services. Maintain documentation, provide technical guidance, and deliver feedback on network requirements and improvements. Requirements Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience leading senior IT technicians in a local IT network environment. DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. Active TS/SCI security clearance. ITIL v4 Foundation Certification. Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100 + MD-101 exams), OR Microsoft Certified: Windows Client, OR equivalent Microsoft365 Certification. VMware Certified Professional (VCP). MECM/BigFix experience. Core Competencies and Skills: Deep knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologies, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, directory services, and VPN security. Proficient in operating, configuring, and troubleshooting network equipment (firewalls, routers, switches, servers, storage area networks). Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and incident response. Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance and capacity.
