CDL Truck Driver – Local Route (Food Waste Collection) $28/hour starting wage | Path to Worker-Ownership | Weekdays 5:00 AM–12:00 PM CERO Cooperative, Inc., a Boston-based, worker-owned cooperative, is seeking a responsible, professional CDL truck driver to join our growing organic waste collection team. This is a solid local driving opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule and the unique chance to become a worker-owner with one of Boston’s leading sustainable W/MBE businesses. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in commercial truck operation. Compensation & Schedule Starting Pay: $28/hour After 6 Months: Increase to $30/hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM Hours: 35–40 hours per week Pay Frequency: Biweekly Worker-Ownership: Eligible after initial period Responsibilities Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, safety equipment, etc.) Follow designated routes using the routing app or as assigned by the operations manager Safely operate a garbage truck to collect source-separated organic waste Load and unload totes and containers (must be able to lift/push/pull over 100 lbs) Operate hydraulic hand controls for lifting and disposal at designated facilities Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor with customers Adhere to company policies and all local, state, and federal driving laws Complete route logs and other reports as required Perform preventative maintenance and report issues promptly Qualifications Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of commercial driving experience Familiarity with GPS, routing apps, and service logs Clean driving record and understanding of DOT regulations Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections and troubleshooting Waste collection experience is a plus, but not required. Connelly School of the Holy Child is excited to announce an opportunity for a creative and passionate individual to join our Development Team for a day, ash they facilitate a Visual Arts project at our Mayfield Market Event on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 8 am - 12 pm. This special event focuses on fostering creativity and holiday spirit through engaging arts and craft activities for the children who attend Mayfield Market. The Stipend for these 4 hours is $250. Responsibilities: Design and lead hands-on visual arts and craft workshop(s) for children so they can leave the event with a keepsake. Instruct participants on various techniques and mediums, including painting, drawing, and crafting seasonal decorations. Facilitate a fun and creative environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration among participants. Assist with the setup and organization of the art and craft area during the event. Work closely with the Development Team to ensure a seamless event is experience for our young guests. Provide guidance and encouragement to students, fostering a love of art and creativity. Engage with parents and community members regarding the holiday project. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field preferred. Experience teaching or leading art and craft activities, especially with children. Strong knowledge of various art techniques and craft materials. Your Role: Provide clinical and therapeutic services to individuals according to discipline standards and in accordance with policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of electronic health records (EHR) that are in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and other federal and state regulations. Remain up to date with clinical knowledge and treatment modalities. Demonstrates understanding of sound ethical practice. Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations. Be aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary. Follow all safety protocols as set out by National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics. Requirements Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or in a related human services field. Must be license eligible in the state of California (Board of Social Work) or have an active Associate License within the state of California. Maintain and be in good standing with the California Board of Health and all appropriate professional board entities. Must possess and provide proof of professional liability insurance/malpractice insurance or will need to purchase a policy prior to hiring. Maintain current liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 claim limit/$3,000,000 aggregate. Ability to efficiently use web-based systems for quality review of records and work performed. Must be comfortable providing teletherapy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong relational and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate well with colleagues, as well as those providing administrative support. Must be available to start with a minimum of 10 hours per week Experience providing therapeutic services to seniors (65+) preferred CAQH credentialing already set up is a plus Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is a plus Must be able to pass a criminal background check Benefits Compensation: $30-$37 per hour based on experience and credentials.
