1990 560SEC that I bought about 8-9 years ago. It was in excellent shape but needed some work. I replaced the exhaust system, new fuel lines, enlarged air cleaner, replaced the steering wheel with W140, new tires with wheels from Lincoln Continental, plus all maintenace items. After all this the car was a great driver, but not a slave to originality. A few years later I woke up and noticed someone had hit and run the drivers side front corner. The insurance company determined it would cost more to fix than I was covered for uninsured motorist. I took a settlement and unable to find a shop that wanted to work on it for a price I could afford I fixed it myself. The damage was just short of being structual and was fixable, it was more a financial total rather than physical. To give a better story on the car one can go to the site BenzWorld.org look for the forums page and listed near bottom is W126 S,SE,SEC,SEL...class. My thread covering my history with the car is "That's Not a Buick! No it's a Mercedes." Should be close to page 1 or 2/3 There are some areas that need work but the car is sound with no major issues. It has a Washington State rebuilt title. Phone show contact info (cell) show contact info (message) Pics 1-8 car now, the rest after I rebuilt it.
