Hand Cut Chophouse Scottsdale is currently looking for a talented Restaurant Manager to join our team! This position will report to the General Manager of the location and is anticipated to work 5 shifts per week (30-35 hours). We're searching for a candidate who can: Supervise and coordinate front-of-house activities to ensure efficient and timely service. Maintain high standards of service, hospitality, and customer satisfaction by regularly inspecting dining areas, monitoring guest feedback, and addressing any issues promptly. Train, mentor, and motivate front-of-house staff, ensuring they adhere to service standards, follow operating procedures, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction. Adhere to all brand policies, procedures, and standards. Work as a team player and actively contribute to the success of the restaurant. Other supportive functions as determined by the supervisor. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fast-paced, upscale dining establishment. Proven track record of managing front-of-house operations, leading a team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail selections. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with a positive attitude. Proficiency in using restaurant POS systems and other business software. Must be fluent in English language – bilingual preferred (Spanish). Must have reliable transportation. Current Food Manager and Alcohol Certification (Title 4 Basic & Title 4 Management). Large private correctional food service provider in Texas is seeking experienced Kitchen Supervisor/Cook at the Henderson County Jail in Athens, TX. DUTIES: Provide supervision and extensive on-going training for between 5 to 12 Inmate Trustees (non-violent offenders only) in food service operations including: Kitchen equipment operation. Following recipes. Food production/preparation and presentation/plating of food trays. Serving meals. Emphasis is placed on high sanitation standards using Trustee labor. Position requires employees to stand for long periods of time (about 80% of the time). Requirements Institutional or commercial food service experience is required, but correctional food service experience is preferred. Qualified applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have access to reliable transportation. Must speak/read English. Must be able to pass extensive background check. Felonies are an automatic disqualification. There may also be a second screening process that includes a physical and drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Records check (if position involves driving).
