About the Role:  We are seeking a CNC Mill-Lathe Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. Responsible for the setup, Mazatrol programing, operating, and inspection of the final product, ensuring it is free from defects and ready for the next production stage.     Responsibilities include:  Day to day operation of CNC milling and Lathe machines following work lists, shop routers or direction from immediate supervisor while maintaining work schedule with a goal of improving safety and/or production.  Operator is responsible for all set up, programming.   Basic programming knowledge of machine being hired for (Mazak or Okuma).  Write programs for basic parts.  Set-up tooling prior to running part and recognize potential tool interference.  Demonstrate the ability to learn back setup.  Operate overhead cranes, clamping devices.  Perform similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.  Maintain clean and safe work area.  Complete tasks timely and efficiently in accordance with expectations as directed by supervisor.  Able to operate tools including but not limited to, hand tools, manual machine tools, torch, drill press, etc.  Ability to learn Eriez labor and work order collection system.  Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.  Requirements High school diploma OR GED  Skill or experience with Mazatrol programing  Program, set up and operate horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers including the setting of all tooling and fixtures, proper feeds and speeds, using both carbide and high-speed steel tools.  Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use Advanced mathematics and formulas.  Use a variety of precision measuring instruments with proficiency.  Experience in programming and operating, (acknowledged training preferred) using Mazatrol or conversational control systems to create programs from engineering drawings.  Ability to learn machining processes through formal training, including knowledge of materials, feeds, speeds, tooling, inserts, coolant, drills, taps, etc.  Benefits 401(k) Employer 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Hourly pay Range: $23.23/hr. to $25.55 (commensurate with experience) + 6% second shift differential premium Eriez is an Equal Opportunity Employer. 1 Resource Group is currently looking for an Extruder Operator for Manufacturing Plant in Baytown, TX. The Extruder Operator is responsible for the operation of the online extruder(s), Twin Screw Extruders, operation of quality testing equipment, the making of blends, set up of feed for the lines and finished product packaging and storage. Job responsibilities also include quality testing, recording and proper response to testing results. Additional duties required are housekeeping, the maximization of throughput and yield and the ability to assist in supporting areas when necessary. This role will report directly to the Production Team Lead and will interact with all departments across the business. Work will be a mixture of reactive and planned tasks prioritized by the Site Leadership Team. You will be responsible for plant operations to minimize production impacts and enhance reliability, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety will be essential in maintaining high-quality masterbatch production. Key Responsibilities: Operate single and twin-screw extruders to produce masterbatch products. Set up and adjust machines according to job specifications (temperatures, feed rates, die tooling). Monitor production runs, making real-time adjustments to maintain quality and throughput. Conduct visual and physical inspections of finished products for color, consistency, and defects. Complete batch production records, material usage reports, and downtime logs. Ensure proper blending and feeding of raw materials into extruders. Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting of equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve issues and optimize output. Report equipment or process abnormalities immediately to supervisors Pay $22-24hr Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 1–3 years of experience in extrusion or plastics manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with extrusion machinery and polymer processing is a plus. Ability to read and interpret production orders, work instructions, and measurement tools. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical or vocational training is a plus. Minimum of 1 year of experience in injection molding, mold setting, or similar manufacturing roles. Knowledge of injection molding processes and machinery. Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with robotic systems and end-of-arm tooling is a plus. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality. Physical Demands Ability to lift and move materials or components up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
