A national law firm in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a full-time Legal Practice Assistant to join their team. This person will be responsible for supporting associates and paralegals within the areas of Bankruptcy, Corporate, Environmental, Litigation, Real Estate and Tax, Trusts & Estates. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with pretrial and trial preparations, depositions Knowledge of court rules and procedures Organizing and maintaining files Preparing legal documents and correspondence Proofreading and formatting documents Requirements 3+ years of experience working within law firm environment as a legal assistant Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and 3E required Knowledge of IManage and PowerPoint a plus. Associate Degree or higher preferred.
