A law firm is seeking a full-time Trust and Estates Paralegal to join their team. Responsibilities: handling all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate (knowledge of New Jersey, New York and Florida probate a plus) Extensive communication with clients, financial planners and accountants Preparation of federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings Distribution of estate assets and trust funding, etc. Requirements 5+ years of experience in a similar type role. College degree and/or paralegal certificate required. Superior communication and mathematical skills are a must. Strong working knowledge of estate tax software (ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), HotDocs and Microsoft Word a plus.

Digesting and indexing deposition transcripts. Assisting with trial preparation and at trial, including setting up the trial, organizing trial exhibits and notebooks, developing charts, graphs, and other visual aids, maintaining exhibits, taking notes at the trial, and assisting with trial presentation and/or other presentation software.   Developing information retrieval systems with an emphasis on use of computerized litigation support. Checking citations, Bluebooking, and proofreading legal documents. Researching, analyzing, and drafting factual memoranda. Conducting computer searches, research, and case management functions on client databases or firm resources such as Opus 2, Relativity, Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, HighQ/Engage, the Internet. Collaborating with eData (Litigation Support) on issues regarding electronic discovery and other matters. Filing and retrieving documents at courthouses and government agencies and preparing files for and executing electronic Court filings.  Assisting with coordinating and supervising teams of contract attorneys on document review projects.  Requirements Four-year college degree strongly preferred. Excellent academic record.  5+ years of Product Liability Paralegal experience  Flexibility to work overtime as necessary, including nights, weekends, and travel, as necessary.
