We support the Pacific Northwest's industrial and marine communities by offering a range of services including industrial cleaning, hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation, wet/dry vacuum services, tank cleaning, and ship cargo hold cleaning. Signing bonus - $1,000 Minimum 30-hour weekly work guarantee Overtime paid for: all weekend work all work over eight hours per day all hours over 40 hours per week Prevailing wage opportunities Union position Company paid training Small teamwork environment Well-maintained equipment and newer fleet Growth opportunities THE JOB Environmental Technicians perform high pressure water blasting, wet/dry vacuum services, confined space entry, industrial painting, industrial cleaning, and tank cleaning supporting various marine and industrial industries. This role will also: Operate commercial/industrial equipment (i.e. high-pressure washer blasting equipment capable of maintaining pressures to 20,000 psi, blowers, etc.) Operate non-DOT equipment (i.e. forklift, manlift, scissor lift) Perform preventive booming on various waterways in the Pacific Northwest Maneuver hoses, pumps and valves THE PAY & BENEFITS Full Position Wage Range: $25.03– $36.64 / hour (depending on experience and qualifications) Technician I (Position Wage Range): $25.03 - $33.31 / hour Technician II (Position Wage Range): $26.28 - $34.97 / hour Opportunities to move to a Lead Technician with a top hourly rate of $36.64 Full-family medical/dental/vision coverage with low premiums Paid vacation and sick leave Nine holidays Union Pension* * This position is represented by the I.U.P.A.T District Council No.5; this is not a seniority-based position. THE CATCH Work 8-12 hour days, including some weekends and holidays. No set schedule. Work at various heights (up to 60 feet) and in confined spaces. Work throughout the Pacific Northwest region involving some travel and overnight stays. Work in various work conditions and temperatures. Obtain and maintain a valid TWIC Card in accordance with the Department of Homeland security within 15 days of hire date. Possess a valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Meet medical clearance criteria and be able to wear a respirator (no facial hair). Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) required for job site location (i.e. ear plugs, protective eyewear, goggles, life vest, face shield, crush resistant footwear and hard hat).
