Our mission is to be the bridge that connects the generation gap between established homeowner and tech-driven traveler. By managing and facilitating the daily business of otherwise offline property owners, we aim to reconnect them, directly or indirectly, to our network of plugged-in travel enthusiasts. Our primary focus is collecting and managing unique, yet underutilized properties in extraordinary locations. In an industry fraught with inefficiency and negativity we aim to bring back customer service and compassion to our owners, guests, and tertiary environment. We are guest & property management, reimagined. Reno: Housekeepers/ Housekeeper Managers - We are Hiring! We are on the hunt for the best Housekeepers in the Reno area! We currently have 2 vacation rentals in the area with more on the way and are looking for someone to help with the cleanings and overall home mgmt. We will be adding more properties in the coming months, our target is 6 homes before the end of the year with more as we grow together. A normal day will consist of 2-8 hours of work inside and outside of Reno. The work will consist of vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, laundry (linens & towels), dishes (minimal), and emptying the fridge and trash, among other things depending on the unit. We supply some nontoxic cleaning products , you can bring some as well. In addition you will be communicating with management, our guests, and handymen so please be capable of responsive text messaging. If you don't do texting/don't like to text or communicate well, please do not apply - we will communicate mostly in this fashion. Also you'll need to accept online payroll - we don't write checks or pay cash since you'll be working remotely and we have a highly automated business model. Job Expectations: * English reading, writing/typing, speaking, and comprehension required. Multilingual as a bonus. * Clean/dust/sweep/mop the units in such a way that you would be comfortable living and sleeping there on your vacation * Run dishwasher and do linens laundry * Reorganize/re-stage/put away things (attention to detail required) * Photograph and report any damage or missing items after each clean (Very important) *Please be capable of texting and highly responsive - communication is key *Have a highly available and flexible schedule. We will give as much lead time as possible but sometimes we do have last-minute bookings where we would need you on the same day or at a day’s notice. *Mandatory availability 7 days per week between the hours of 10am and 4pm, including holidays. Priority hiring will be given to those available from 9:30am to 430pm. Our guests' check-out time is 10 am so we need your arrival and completion to be accomplished during the hours of 10 am & 4pm (we can occasionally be flexible on those times based on early check-outs and the next guest’s needs, but not to be relied on) *Shop at Costco/Other stores for supplies and replacement items (occasionally) *Drop forgotten items at the post office to mail back to guests - extra pay (rarely) *Be a team player, communicate with mgmt, other housekeepers, maintenance, etc to make sure the work is always done well and on time. *Must have a reliable transportation. *You must be willing to accept the 1 strike rule for no-shows. If you don’t show up to a job, without a valid written excuse, you will be let go immediately. If you are chronically late or no-show/ghost, please don’t waste either of our time, we only want the best, reliable people Excellent Pay Benefits: Starting paying will be a flat rate per clean that translates to ~$20-$40 per hour. Depending on the size of the property and your efficiency with about 10-12 total cleanings per two week period. As a good relationship develops, we offer raises like more money per clean and opportunity for advancement to salaried management positions. Perks: Once trust is established, we offer our employee free stays at our properties when it’s mutually convenient.
