Assist in maintaining equipment by performing routine checks, cleaning, lubricating, and ensuring machinery is in good working condition. Perform general labor tasks as needed, including digging, lifting, loading, unloading, and clearing debris from work areas. Monitor and ensure safe material handling, following proper procedures for loading, unloading, and transporting materials around the quarry. Assist with site preparation for construction projects by grading, leveling, and clearing the land for various operations. Follow safety guidelines and work closely with other team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including MSHA standards. Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team or supervisor. Help with daily setup and teardown of equipment, ensuring tools and machinery are in place for the next shift. Assist in the maintenance of worksite cleanliness, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
