The fleet mechanic at JC Grounds Management is a dynamic role that requires a very broad base of technical knowledge. In this integral position, you will oversee the preventative maintenance and repair of our growing fleet of trucks and equipment. You will be a self-starter with an uncanny sense of urgency who is organized with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks and projects. Responsibilities Performs inspections and preventative maintenance to all trucks, loaders, skid steers, plows, snow pushers, trailers, landscape equipment and small engine equipment. Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment onsite and offsite. 100% participation during snow events, required overtime to be worked. Complete work orders with start and end times, also noting all parts and all work done on each part of equipment repaired. Keep garage, yard and facility organized and clean at all times. Provide training to technicians in the safe and proficient use of equipment. Qualifications Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
