Dewey’s Cook Inlet has been doing business in Alaska for 50+ years and is the leader in Marine and Yamaha outboard sales. We take pride in being able to help people get on the water, and are looking to hire a Boat Rigging Technician to join our team and help accomplish this. Duties include rigging and outfitting new jon boat packages, ocean boat packages, trailers, and outboard motors. It is preferable (Not Required) for applicants to have experience in the marine industry. If you do not have experience, we will train on the job. Applicants must be SAFETY conscious. MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND MUST QUALIFY TO BE ON EMPLOYERS VEHICLE INSURANCE All weather gear will be needed when required to work outdoors. Personal tools will be required. Dewey’s provides standard tools. Successful applicants are reliable, at work on time, and have the ability to work well with others. During summer months, overtime may be required due to high workload. We offer excellent benefits. Health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation & retirement. Pay starts at $18 per hour for trainees.
