Jumoke Systems of Care, Inc. is seeking General Maintenance Staff for our Baltimore City and Prince George's County locations to join our strong and dedicated team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safety of the facility’s units, equipment, and grounds. We are seeking individuals with a background in general maintenance who possess their own tools and reliable transportation. This position is hourly and full-time. Job Description: A full-time hourly role necessitates a background in maintenance and minor repairs to residential dwellings. A valid driver’s license and car insurance are required. 1. Must possess the ability to pass a CPS, State, and Federal background check upon hiring. 2. Must possess the capability to maintain a regular timetable during the week and on holidays when necessary. 3. Some shifts may include over 8 hours. 4. 1-3 years of experience (certification not required) Skills: 1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, patching walls, replacing fixtures, repairing doors/windows, and supporting emergency preparedness by checking fire alarms, extinguishers, and exit signage 2. Must be able to assemble furniture 3. Must be tool proficiency 4. Must be able to lift heavy objects 5. Must be able to ensure all repairs meet safety codes and regulatory standards 6. Must be able to maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance 7. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a team and independently 8.
