Equipment Operator w/ Maintenance Skills (Seymour) compensation: Compensation based on experience and skill level employment type: full-time Business in Seymour is seeking an Equipment Operator / Driver to manufacture /produce wood products. The position is responsible for loading, operating and maintaining grinders, excavators, front end loaders, attachments. This person will be responsible for coordination and operation of on and off site grinding activities. This position will be responsible for assisting in medium to heavy duty maintenance of all TLB equipment and other equipment operator yard activities, to support normal operations. Manufacturing process and techniques will be trained / learned on the job. This position plays a key role in all operational and maintenance processes at business and onsite operations. The role, performs the following functions/duties (not an all-inclusive list); • Operate and Maintain Equipment: front end loader, skid steer, excavator, grinders, attachments, trailers, trucks and all handling equipment. Maintenance skill for all primary and secondary level and replacement of wear parts in equipment, i.e. belts, teeth, chains etc. • Load and unload semi-trailers using various pieces of equipment • Pile chips / bark for optimal space utilization and efficient operations • Perform routine maintenance on specific equipment used by the operator • Maintain on site operations, coordination and solid communication with home office • Customer interaction, follow up, follow through must be solid to maintain and grow relationships • Competent in working independently as well as in a team atmosphere • Able to work under pressure, strong time management skills & be an effective listener Hours: • Full Time 40+ per week, primarily between 6am -5pm, some weekend work as production dictates • Overtime 15 to 30% Compensation: • Compensation based on experience and skill level Benefits: • Health / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance • Weekly pay / Direct Deposit • Flexible Spending Account / Health Savings Account • SIMPLE (401K) Plan • Paid Vacation and Holidays Experience, Education and Job requirements: • One plus years of related experience & equipment operations (Grinders, Loader, heavy equip. ops, etc.) • Minimum high school diploma or GED and industry experience • Working knowledge and experience in the lumber industry and or like manufacturing equipment experience • Ability to adapt to operational changes , customer demands and fast safe pace of operations • Possess Strong leadership communication & team skills to motivate employees to accomplish their duties • Must be able to perform corrective action, and reason through issues as necessary • Ability to work with fellow employees to accomplish established goals • Proven experience and customer interaction with good ability to communicate efficiently and effectively Email resume or call for more information 920-eight33-9031 ask for Erika or Doug
