The successful candidate will assist with crematory and funeral home operations, removals, and transfers (First Calls) from a variety of locations including private residences, hospitals, care facilities, and accident scenes. Schedule, M-F 08:30a-3:30p, some on-call availability for nights and weekends is necessary. Key Responsibilities: • Operate crematory equipment in accordance with safety and regulatory standards. • Assist with removals and transfers of decedents with professionalism and sensitivity. • Perform general facility maintenance and cleaning. • Maintain funeral home vehicles and ensure readiness for service. • Run errands and support logistical needs of funeral arrangements. • Provide compassionate support to families and uphold the dignity of the deceased.
