1979 VW Transporter / Bus - $9,000 (Tumwater Hill)

1979 Transporter - California model ODO shows just about 72,xxx miles Perfect for getting out and enjoying what is shaping up to be a great PNW summer. We have had this bus for about 30 years. It was a daily driver in the late 90s, but has been mostly a garage queen the last 20+ years. Spring of 2023 it went into the shop to get it "road ready", which saw some brake and steering work done. There was a major engine overhaul about ten years / one thousand miles ago. Runs strong, starts, steers and stops as it should. Pics show condition and most everything is original. There was a repaint at some point shortly before our ownership. Some surface rust as shown in the pics but only one area of rust in the pan - also shown in the pics - just inside the slider. A patch was welded in at some point, but it is ready to have that area addressed again. The exhaust system and thus the heat system for the bus could use some attention.
