Description

TechOp Solutions is seeking a Senior Professional with outstanding communication skills (oral and written), strong analytical and writing capabilities, and deep subject matter expertise to support a high-profile federal compliance program. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience, and a strong working knowledge of export regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR, OFAC), They will be a critical thinker and proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, demonstrating the ability to lead projects independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities: • Lead a team of analysts conducting export compliance reviews under ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and related federal regulations. • Analyze complex regulatory and technical issues and present findings in clear, accessible language to stakeholders. • Ensure maintenance and accuracy of export control databases and review documentation. • Serve as liaison with federal managers; ensure final recommendations meet program needs • Provide mentorship, guidance, and oversight to junior team members • Performs additional duties as assigned. Requirements • 10+ years of experience with U.S. export laws and regulatory interpretation (ITAR, EAR, OFAC). • MA/MS degree • Strong understanding of CFIUS-related matters and export classification processes (preferred) • Excellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel of various backgrounds • Active Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TechOp, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The tentative wage for this role is $110,000 - $180,000.
