Description

We are looking for an Electronic Technician for a consumer and professional audio repair role. An ideal candidate would be someone who is passionate about Hi-Fi and pro audio. We don't require licenses, degrees or certificates, but you should have a working understanding of component level repairs, desire, and be able to follow instructions carefully and have good attention to details. Qualifications should include: Ability to read circuit schematics, operate typical audio test equipment, have excellent soldering skills, and be familiar with all kinds of hand tools. Experience servicing audio and/or video equipment, either consumer or professional. At this time we are looking for an experienced bench tech, but also need assistance to help with a range of daily business, customer email and parts orders etc. and would consider training the right person who is truly interested and dedicated, and wants to learn the audio business. Trainees should expect a 2-5 day trial period. Duties will include (supervised) repair service and calibration of Stereo Receivers, Amplifiers, CD Players, Turntables, Tube Equipment, Compressors/ FX Processors, and others. We are presently preparing to sell some equipment through eBay and Reverb, therefore knowledge of these platforms can be a plus.
